Smoky Tacos | Our Story

Built around the flame

Built around the flame

Smoky Tacos exists because owner Jesus Alvarez wanted old-school Mexican street food done right — grilled over real charcoal, with no shortcuts. That's the whole idea.
How it started

How it started

Jesus Alvarez opened Smoky Tacos in Pasco, Washington with a clear purpose: bring bold, smoky flavor back to a format that had lost it. Real charcoal. Real fire. Nothing pretending to be something it isn't.
No flat-tops here

No flat-tops here

Every cut goes over open charcoal — not a flat-top griddle. That direct heat gives every taco a depth of flavor you can't fake.
The cuts on the grill

The cuts on the grill

Ribeye, New York strip, sirloin, arrachera, and asada — premium cuts grilled to order over the open flame. A method most taco spots simply don't use.
The rest of the menu

The rest of the menu

Corn tortillas, house-made sauces, fresh cilantro, onion, and lime — the whole menu is built with the same care as the grill. Simple ingredients treated with real attention.
